Standard Ukulele Tuning: G C E A
The standard ukulele tuning is G–C–E–A, read from the 4th string (closest to your chin) to the 1st string (closest to the floor). Most ukulele songs, tutorials, and chord charts are written for standard GCEA tuning.

Choose Your Ukulele Tuning
Standard GCEA
The most common tuning for soprano, concert, and tenor ukuleles. Great for beginners.
Low G
Same as GCEA but with the G string tuned an octave lower. Adds a fuller, warmer sound.
Baritone DGBE
Used on baritone ukuleles. The same as the top four strings of a guitar.
Soprano

Concert
